When we created the Deadset Legends Collection, we wanted to celebrate the people, the moments, and the fishing culture that most anglers know all too well. Because every design in this drop has a story behind it.
The Fin Reaper
Every crew has one. The bloke who somehow catches fish when nobody else can. The one who’s always “just changing lures” while everyone else is scratching their heads wondering what they’re doing wrong.
You can fish the same water, use the same gear, and make the same casts, yet somehow they’ll still end up with the most fish.
No one likes them. Everyone wants to fish with them. That’s The Fin Reaper. The fish fear him. His mates envy him and somehow, he’s always got another fish on.
The Master Baiter
The self-proclaimed expert.
Not so much the bloke with all the secret spots, but the one who swears he’s mastered the secret art of getting fish to bite.
The guy with a special way of baiting hooks, a favourite way to rig his plastics, and a mysterious “secret sauce” he reckons gives every lure that extra razzle.
He’s always tweaking, experimenting, and letting everyone know exactly why his setup is better than yours.
Whether there’s any truth to it or not is up for debate but, one thing’s for sure…..every fishing crew has a the one bloke that has a few extra tricks up his sleeve. The Master Baiter.

These are the days we all dream about. The days when every cast feels like it could get eaten. The days where the fish are fired up and the action doesn’t stop. No complicated tactics. No second guessing. Just fish doing what fish are supposed to do.

Fishing isn’t always calm waters and picture-perfect sunsets. Sometimes it’s complete chaos. Tangling lines. Lost fish. Hooks in places they shouldn’t be. Gear failures. Last-minute changes of plans. Unexpected adventures and somehow those are often the trips we remember the most.
